Before leaving for our big fat American road trip, I had my brother snap a picture of Gerry and I with this love of my life sign. Have you ever heard of this before? If you haven't, you must not read Jen Loves Kev, which means you're missing out. It's a fantastic blog, and when I found out about the whole love of my life project, I cried (hard) because it stemmed from the sweetest gesture. I actually just got teary watching it again. It's that touching and inspiring. I was going to explain the whole gist, but if you've never heard of this, you should watch the video, and go to the website: without you its just not us.
I had grander plans to take pictures of the sign at places throughout our whole trip, but sweating, access to the sign amidst all the other moving crap and laziness stopped that from happening. Maybe next time?
Moving across the country together has really solidified our bond, and made us closer. I'm surprised at how good we are at being roommates. I know living together is still pretty new, but I also know I struck gold finding Gerry, the love of my life.
Enough with the mushy stuff though. This is the first of many posts relating to our big fat American road trip (God, how I wish the acronym wasn't OBFART. Seriously, why?). It took me two months to get all my pictures off my camera, but I'm excited to relive the trip by blogging about it. I'm just going to pepper them in with other posts, so be on the lookout.
And, go make a love proclamation! It feels good.

How sweet!

ReplyDeleteI love love stories, more than anything. It makes me so happy when I see other people just balls to the wall in love.
