The Last of Summer

Suggested soundtrack - Indian Summer by Beat Happening
If you read my blog and you like beat happening, I want you to tell me so we can be better friends. kthx.

This is an outfit from early last week that I neglected to post because my computer started acting like it was going to blow up. It didn't, so here we are. I wore this outfit to hand in a few job applications, and go grocery shopping. It was in the mid-70's and sunny here last week, but the stereotypical Portland weather seems to have kicked in since. Can I handle this, guys? People always asked me before moving if I wanted to deal with all the rain, and I really brushed it off without much consideration, stating "it's better than snow." Jury is still out.

I felt a lot of eyes with the fat legs + shorts + boots equation.

I wish boyfriend-man would have told me my cami was all ragamuffin-like, but he doesn't notice these things. Neither did I until I uploaded them. So excuse the dishevelment.

Hope everyone is having a good week. I'm loving my new job, and feeling like things will really come together soon (meaning I can stop obsessing about how to pay my bills). I appreciate the well wishes, and I also appreciate the positive feedback about the blog makeover. I neglected to mention that if you would like Rachele to make over your blog too, you should check out her etsy

Until next time, I leave you with this. In case you ever thought I was cool...

I'm not.
