Our Big Fat American Road Trip [IV]

Hi, y'all. I know it's been quite around here. I'm adjusting to my new job. Last week I started working my new schedule beginning at 7 am. So, like, I have to get up before 6. It's bonkers, I tell you, bonkers. Is this being a grown up? I guess so. I'll get the hang of it eventually.

We left Pinedale, Wyoming nice and early to head toward Grand Teton National Park. Spending time in the Grand Teton area was definitely a trip highlight. So gorgeous and picturesque. I hate that describing mountains seems cliche, and photos don't quite do it justice. The magnanimity of it all.

It's crazy how many pictures I took on this particular day. I'm gonna break up the posts a little bit. Let's drag this out a little more, shall we? Additionally, I feel compelled to defend my brown socks. I am a terrible packer. Evidence.

  4. I agre that photos and words can't always do any of nature justice, but they're still beautiful to look at. :) That seems like such a wonderful stop on your trip, and I love that statue with your guy. :)
